The Committee on Environmental Policy, Use of Natural Resources and Chornobyl Aftermath Mitigation does not uphold the draft law on amendments to the Budget Code of Ukraine re payment of environmental tax by enterprises of separate branches of industry

The bill (Reg.No. 2807) suggests determining the list of brunches of industry and rates of taxes. The list of enterprises falling under suggested by draft law conditions will be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.

The Committee members deem the bill’s proposals require technical-legal elaboration regarding financial, prices, investment and taxation policy. According to people’s deputies, it would be reasonable to receive expert conclusion of Government to make a decision on the submitted bill.
